fso-gpsd translates gypsy-protocol from ogpsd to gspd-protocol and isn't full 
compatible to gpsd anymore.
So you should use gpsd.

You will need fso-deviced (0.9.5+git20110805) and fso-deviced-openmoko 
packages.
In /etc/freesmartphone/conf/GTA02/fsodeviced.conf you have to change in 
section [fsodevice.openmoko_powercontrol] the line "ignore_gps=true" to false.

Don't forget setting resource policy to enabled or you have to power on gps 
manually.
