Some sort of revision control system will be needed of course.  I haven't
noticed anyone complaining about subversion, and at least I wouldn't have a
problem with it.  What sort of problems are you thinking of?

You mean a signature for Debian-games, or a
per-collaboratively-maintained-game signature?  I think the latter is more
useful than the former.

In both cases though, we should try to avoid anyone from getting the private
key.  That is, there should be some scripts which do the signing and
decrypting from trusted messages (that is, signed by a key which is registered
with the script).  That way, when the people in the group change, there is no
chance that the key will need to be revoked.  I'd suppose that this would be
some sort of mailing list, which takes signed+encrypted messages, decrypts and
reencrypts them for each recipient (possibly with a pseudo-header for some
control over who it's sent to).  I have no idea if something like that
already exists.
