Hi,
I found this on the DRI development list, maybe someone is interested
in helping?

Cheers,

Subject: 3D application survey for DRIconf

Hi DRI users,

for the next version of DRIconf I'm working on a database of known
applications that can be selected from a menu. This way users won't need
to go through the confusion of finding out the correct executable name
any more. However, the range of applications and games I'm using myself
is rather limited, so I am conducting this survey.

Please send me the names and correct executable names of your favourite
3D applications and games that you configure with DRIconf. Send these to
my private email address, NOT to the mailing lists. Depending on the
volume of feedback I may want to filter and process the emails
automatically, so please send plain-text emails in the following format:

Subject: [DRIconfAppDB] <arbitrary subject>

### <category> : <application name> : <executable name>
...

Any lines that do not start with "###" (no leading white space) and
contain exactly two colons (":") will be ignored by the script I may
write. So feel free to add more comments or your signature etc. White
space around category, application, and executable names will be
stripped. White space inside the names will be preserved. Category names
are case-insensitive. So far I have defined the following categories:

Benchmarks
Games-Arcade
Games-RPG (role playing and adventure)
Games-Shooter (1st person shooters)
Games-Simulation
Games-Strategy
ModelRender (modelling and rendering)
Multimedia
ScienceEng (science and engineering)

I may also add a category for Xscreensaver hacks. If a category gets too
big then I may have to subdivide it further. Please let me and the
mailing list know if you think I forgot an important category.

All data you provide will be anonymized. No personal information about
you will be visible in DRIconf or disclosed to others. ;-)

Thanks in advance,
  Felix Kühling
