I'm not sure myself about that, the problem is quite similar to Python, that
the format of bytecodes is not kept constant among versions, so my plan was to
keep backporting selected patches so that the bytecode was not modified. My
last changes to the package, in svn right now, are in the direction of the
compilation being done at runtime, so we might drop the version number for
non-precompiled stuff, and make life much simpler for me. In any case, binary
or "pre-compiled" games won't work if the version is different.

How would you think would be the best way to cope  with that? My interest in
fenix is mainly because I wan to package some games coded in that system.
