Bug#474143: warzone2100: Crash in Campaign Mission Beta 6 ("Destroy Reactor")

The game crashes, when my transport to is loaded with units, I start it,
and the away mission should start in Beta 6 mission of the single player
campaign. I use the Debian package of 2.1 beta 2. This is the console
output:

error : VLO parse error: Template Assault Gunner not found at line 320,
token: -2, text: 'Cyb-RotMG-GROUND'
error : Script cam2-5.vlo did not compile
Saved dump file to '/tmp/warzone2100.gdmp'

I reported the bug to upstream at https://gna.org/bugs/index.php?11422 a
savegame and the dump file are there too.
