I was planning to leave kanatest running indefinitely so I could quickly switch
to it for running drills, but it turned out that after logging out of my X
session, the statistics and settings were lost the next time I started
kanatest.

So it seems that the statistics and settings are only saved on a clean exit.
It would be nice if they could be saved immediately or at least regularly
(or, as a last resort, manually).
