goneri | Hi rivo, I've a problem with Boson in Debian http://bugs.debian.org/439973 , can I have your opinion about it?
rivo | goneri: lack of current opengl context might indeed be a problem
rivo | I don't remember anymore why boglInit() was called very early at startup, before there was any opengl context, but I think there was a reason for
             it
rivo | oh, I think we dlopen the opengl library to load the symbols which obviusly has to be done before the context can be created
rivo | the solution might be either to first dlopen the library, load necessary symbols to init context, init context and then resolve rest of the
             symbols
rivo | or to use something like glew to resolve them for us (glew doesn't dlopen the library though, so I'm not sure about it)
rivo | but... with boson development being inactive lately, I'm not sure if it would be fixed anytime soon as it's not a trivial fix :-(
