Bug#483451: fretsonfire: guitar track not heard; background track used as guitar track

I'm using fretsonfire on Ubuntu intrepid.  When I play the correct
notes, I only hear the background track, and not the guitar track.  When
I play incorrect notes, I do not hear either track.  This happens both
with the included sectoid song pack and with other downloaded songs.
All volume settings are set to 11.
