Your nagging is perfectly OK.  I applied your patch and builded a
new upstream version from it (as I did with previous versions of
XTeddy because upstream does not work any more on XTeddy but volunteers
to put new versions on his official homepage.  This sounds reasonable
to me to let other distribs profit from it.  Once this new version
is online (or after a couple of further days of waiting) I'll upload.
