 Could you do me a favour and test wether the wesnoth version from
experimental (currently 1:1.7.12-1) compiles with gcc-4.5? If that is
the case then I'll close this bug once the 1.8 release of wesnoth hits
the road and replaces the 1.6 branch in unstable. Upstream told me it
should, but given that you have the setup already I hope it wouldn't be
too complicated for you to check it just to be sure. :)
