Would you still like me to do this? The only other machine I could try
is my mother's eMac which is running Squeeze. That's also powerpc but
uses a different driver because the graphics aren't nvidia. (I forget
what they are - just that hers worked out of the box and mine caused
me a great deal of trouble!)

I will shortly (I hope) have access to two new machines but neither of
those will be powerpc so I'm not sure that will be much help.
