That's the actual culprit. Upgrading python-fife 0.3.4-1 from
experimental fixes this issue.

So the bug is actually a not tight enough being versioned dependency:
"python-fife (>= 0.3.3+r3)" should be replaced by "python-fife (>=
0.3.4)" for the package in Experimental.
