Apologies - I'm not very familiar with wxGlade and had assumed it
updated code in between its "begin wxGlade" and "end wxGlade" comments,
but I take it from your response that this isn't the case.

I've attached a patch which just does the compatibility define in
debian/rules, so doesn't need to patch any generated code.  The
changes to upstream files should be compatible with wx2.8.

The wxpython3.0 packages have recently cleared NEW, and have been
built successfully for all supported architectures.  If you can help
make wxGlade compatible with wx3, that would be great.
