Hi,

please reply to the bug report.

All clients are currently packaged in separate packages except the GTK+
2 and GTK+ 3 clients which are both part of the freeciv-client-gtk
package. I think for Freeciv 2.5 I will split off the GTK+ 3 client
into a separate package but it's too late for Jessie.

At the moment Freeciv is a virtual package provided by the client
packages. That's not really my favorite solution but this is how it was
when I became an Uploader of Freeciv. I think we should make Freeciv a
real package that depends on freeciv-client-gtk by default. Everything
else is optional.

Ok. I agree that Xaw is below standard and should be dropped for 2.5. If
the Qt client is usable it could be packaged as a separate client, I'll
ask again when the time has come.

I can't reproduce any black game screen when I launch the GKT3 client.
Both clients can be launched separately and the package description is
very clear about what kind of client should be preferred.
