Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

run the following command:
'game-data-packager --no-install --no-compress --verbose --debug spear-of-destiny 2>&1 | tee gdp.log'
to make a package of spear-of-destiny-demo-data package

see gdp.log.gz

   * What was the outcome of this action?

the packages have a ./DEBIAN in their data.tar(.xz), use command:
'ar t spear-of-destiny-demo-data_43_all.deb&&ar x spear-of-destiny-demo-data_43_all.deb data.tar&&tar -tvf data.tar&&rm data.tar'
 see filelist.txt.gz

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
the ./DEBIAN should only be in the control.tar.gz

this make it hard to install data packages created via game-data-packager, wrote up a script to run each deb and remove DEBIAN for the data.tar so I may be able to install all the created packages
