Bug#800411: xboard: broken pipe

i get this in the commandline:

xboard: Fehler beim Schreiben zum Schachprogramm erstes: 
Datenübergabe unterbrochen (broken pipe)

it means in english something like this:

error while writing to the chessprogram first: data relay interrupted 
(broken pipe)

what about gdb what command should i run?
