Hi,

I guess what you really meant is that someone does the work to have steamos-compositor packaged.
(maybe you ?)

As the release cycle & license (BSD) are different from "steam" package,
this desserve it's own source package.

( I know this because I made the same "mistake" filling a bug for SteamCMD last year:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=775512 )


The resulting binary package (.deb) would go in contrib, as this is BSD-licensed;
but useless without non-free "steam" package (I guess).
