Does this mean you settled down and do not play xmoto so much any more?
It is that way with me, but my kids seem interested. :)

Well, it seem to be the way to do it, so the build rules I created do
almost the same, except it put the documentation in the right place and
drop the vcs files from the binary package. :)

The menu entry seem to show up with inkscape 0.48.5-3 in Debian Jessie,
at least. Have not tested it with later versions.

Strange. Now I see the images too... :/

Very good. Are any of you interested in maintaining the package in
Debian? I can help with the packaging stuff, but do not know enough
about xmoto or inkscape to handle any problems discovered in the
funtionality of the package.

To test the package, clone
<URL: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/inksmoto.git > and
run 'gbp buildpackage'
