  crashes without starting game

Status in “btanks” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  This used to work with the initial release of 12.04 LTS.  After a few
  rounds of updates, it simply quit working.  You can get to the main
  menu, change options, select game, but when you click on start Lassie
  runs away never to return.
