What I mean is that you don't have to distribute them, they are only
required to build the test suites. 2.1.x will use them as well as main
building scripts (auto* will still be supported).

You are now getting seriously on my nerves by repeating endlessly the
same thing. Please stop. I am NOT talking about upstream but about
Debian ONLY.

The repository I refer to is in  Debian's php-gd, nothing to do with
libgd's CVS repository. See

I'm now part of the php-gd development team, which is now the
maintainers of the GD package, if you like to help us in the new
repository, you are welcome.

If you have any questions about how we work or what's our plans, we
will happy to answer.
