Bug#241150: more info

I have a little more info.

I discovered that the directory I was dragging the files to was a
mounted smbfs directory. I have a samba share on another machine that I
mount on /mnt/data, and I was dragging files from my hard drive here to
that mounted drive. I was running kernel 2.6.3 then, I'm now running
2.6.5 and I am currently updating my GNOME 2.6 packages so I shortly I
will try recreating my problem and report back.
