When and if gst-thumbnail tries to thumbnail a movie type not supported
under the gstreamer framework, the process does not exit. The process
can take up anywhere from 40-80% of the CPU.

The thumbnailer should be smart enough to know when it can and cannot
render a particular thumbnail -- if it cannot, then it should exit
cleanly without adversely affecting the system.
