Bug#255663: Not fixed?

Hello,
I just ran into the same bug. gnome-volume-control and mixer-applet2
were fine until I just upgraded gnome-applets to 2.6.2-1 (gnome-media is
2.6.2-0.2). I'm using testing and just upgraded. gnome-applets was
2.4.something before my upgrade, I think 2.6.2-1 entered testing just
recently.

Since my upgrade gnome-volume-control doesn't work anymore (doesn't find
any mixer) and mixer-applet2 doesn't work either (volume slider always
jumps back to zero).

I'm using ALSA and both XMMS as gnome-alsa-mixer work fine.

Looks for me as if the bug isn't done yet.

Ideas?
