Package: fvwm
Version: 2.5.10-9
Severity: minor

For some reason, fvwm refuses to load certain xpm files in menus. I
have spent quite some time studying this matter, and have been
completely unable to determine what the problem is. The xpms display
just fine in other apps, and appear to be perfectly kosher when viewed
as text. And I've double- and triple-checked the pathnames.
Nevertheless, fvwm says (e.g.):

[FVWM][scanForPixmap]: <<WARNING>> Couldn't load image from /usr/share/pixmaps/dia_menu.xpm

This particular example is from the Debian menu system, from the "dia"
package. I have some other examples if you need them. I wish I could
offer more details or a patch or something, but I am, frankly, stumped.
