Hi,

gdesklet should check /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop gconf key
: e.g if I run gnome-panel but don't use nautilus as a desktop (say, I
want to use my window manager, enlightenment), it should use X root and
not nautilus background for pseudo-transparency.

It works fine if I don't use gnome at all.
