Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.6.1-2
Severity: normal

Just another issue for gnome-terminal in sid: when using the 'screen' program
within it and a ncurses program like mutt or vim it often
wipes out the entire content of the session (just a blank screen appears).
Refreshing by ^L does not solve the problem: the display contents reappears
for a few moments and disappears again suddenly. Moving up/down the cursor
generally force a real refresh. This gives problem when using any
ncurses-intensive program.

Of course, no problem with xterm.
I suspect this can be considered a gnome-terminal issue, not a screen one.
