Package: gksu
Version: 1.0.5-1
Severity: important

gksudo gives the following error:
Error copying '/home/david/.Xauthority' to
'/tmp/gksu-7EEgyN': No such file or directory
and gksudo crashes requiring a ctrl c.

my $XAUTHORITY env variable is set correctly to my xauth file in /tmp
but gksudo seems to need .Xauthority in $HOME.
if I cp $XAUTHORITY ~/.Xauthority
gksudo works fine
