the ximian file dialog is annoying. the buttons are too big, the ui isn't
customisable, and doesn't take advantage of the file window space.

the default seems to be decent, though i haven't seen the default for
gtk2 2.2.x, only for gtk2 2.4.x.

i'd suggest another patch, or not put one at all.
