If you have a mount point which appears and disappears as you insert and
remove media, for example my digital camera or watch, an icon appears
and disappears appropriately on the desktop.

So far, so good.

If I right-click the icon, choose Properties and Select Custom Icon it
works, and the icon changes to a pretty picture of a camera or watch.

I then unplug the device, and the icon vanishes. If I now plug it back
in again, the icon reappears on the desktop but the custom icon is
lost!

Seems ok. Closing this bug. Or is this upstream bug fix not in debian ?
