fair enough.

I remember I saw this error with gdm 2.4 installed, as well as gdm 2.6.x;
but, i have no idea what causes it (yet). and for some reason, it has not
happened again (to the computer i used to report that bug). In other words,
i left the computer logged in for a day and X was running the same. (Before
I used to find the login prompt after a day).

The problem is that i didn't notice this problem until recently, so I don't
know what introduced it. And it happens at work and at home, so it must be
something with a Debian package and not, for instance, a hardware problem or
anything like that.
