Dan Jacobson <jidanni@jidanni.org> - Mon, Jun 28, 2004:

> dpkg: warning - unable to delete old file `/etc/gtk-2.0': Directory not=
 empty
> Directory /etc/gtk-2.0/ contains
> gdk-pixbuf.loaders gtk.immodules

This is a warning that you can safely ignore, it is due to the fact
that /etc/gtk-2.0 is now shipped by libgtk-2.0-bin instead of
libgtk-2.0-common. The dependancies are so that all of the three
 packages libgtk-2.0, libgtk-2.0-common, and libgtk-2.0-bin are always
 present.

We could work around this warning by adding /etc/gtk-2.0 to
libgtk2.0-common, but it would produce the warning as soon as we would
remove it. The dependancies would permit that we keep /etc/gtk-2.0 in
 libgtk2.0-common forever though.

Suggested modification to the package: add /etc/gtk-2.0.

   Regards,
