Bug#321620: gdm doesn't honour umask setting

Gdm doesn't use umask settings specified by pam-umask. Taking a closer
look at the source you can see that in several places there are umask()
function calls to set permissions on files created by gdm during
startup. So IMHO umask specified by pam-umask is set at startup, but
then changed by gdm at will so that in the end, it's 022. You can test
it for example in gnome by running 'touch /tmp/test' from gnome run
program menu option. Gdm shouldn't use umask() calls but specify
permissions by fchmod() or at least restore the permissions that it
found on startup.
