yes, the v4l2 problem was known for quite some time and actually we had
considered to do another upload right the moment when SARGE was
released. Thus the v4l2 default happend on accident rather than on
purpose. The gnomemeeting 1.2.1-2 holds the fix already and we hope to
get it into ETCH as soon as the g++ transition permits.
