No, I had some biding to Ctrl+<something>. I've removed all them aand  
restarted the desktop.

All the gnome applications I've tested : galeon, eog, gedit, gribi,  
gpdf, the nautilus browser have Ctrl+O assigned to Open. Only  
gtranslator has "F".
