Package: gcalctool
Version: 4.3.46-2
Severity: wishlist

gcalctool should use the standard order of operations, at least when in
scientific mode. For instance, typing in "1 + 2 * 3 =" produces
9 when one would expect it to produce 7. To behave otherwise as a
scientific calculator is confusing and likely to result in mistakes.

Hello,

The correct algebrical priority calculation is now the default mode for
gcalctool (it can be disabled through a menu item).

Thanks for your report,
