Hi.

On my system gedit does not install because there appears to be a
problem with the versioning. apt-get gives te following error:

 gedit: Depends: gedit-common (= 2.10.3-2) but 2.10.3-4 is to be
 installed

On my system this breakes the gnome metapackage too, because
gnome-desktop-environment and gnome-office are depending on this package
too. I guess updating the packages to the new versions should fix
the bug.
