Bug#325664: KDE menus should be hidden by default

Package: gnome-menus
Version: 2.10.2-1
Severity: normal

Gnome 2.10 in Debian includes KDE menu entries in its menu, and I think
it's a bad idea. Menus were clean and usable in Gnome 2.8 because there
were only a few programs designed for GNOME. This was contrasting with
MS Windows, where the Start menu is not usable at all, because of too
many entries. This was really a good point for GNOME, Debian and Linux.

Now, the GNOME menu is just a pool including many uneeded programs, and
you need to add a link on the panel for each program you use. So I would
suggest something : an option should allow to include KDE programs if
you want, but the default should be (as it used to be) just showing
GNOME-integrated programs.

Thanks
