I tried to run my "suspend" command using battstat, which has always
worked and got the error message that it cannot run the child - too many
open files.
lsof did indeed show hundrets of sockets opened by battstat-applet.

After killing and restarting the applet i got the information that my
acpi daemon wasn't running any more; now the applet works fine again.
Is there a fd leak maybe?
battstat-applet already is at 54 fds if i read the lsof output
correctly. Restarting it - with acpid running - brought this down to 34

I'm running experimental; i don't know if this applies to unstable as
well.

Version: 2.10.1-1

Hi there,

This has been fixed since before GNOME 2.10, and we now have a) BTS
version tracking, b) full 2.10 in testing, c) 2.12 reaching unstable
some time soon.

Hence, closing this =D Thanks!
