Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.8.1-1
Severity: normal

When creating some applets on a panel A, then moving them on a panel B,
then deleting the panel A, the applets disappear from panel B. It seems
like the panel A "remembers" it owns these applets, although it doesn't
anymore.

Version: 2.8.3-1

So, I tried very hard to reproduce this problem with gnome-panel 2.10
and 2.12. Since it was caused only once under a very specific situation,
and not even the submitter is able to reproduce the problem again, my
best guess is it could be a weird gconf behavior or something like that.

I'll close it and ask that if someone can reproduce it again please
reopen.

Thanks,
