Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.8.1-2
Severity: normal

I configured <Win>-<Cursor-left> and <Win>-<Cursor-right> to switch my
workspaces. That works fine. However, while switching using one of those key
combinations, the program displays a
small map of available workspaces in the center of the screen which keeps
sitting there, even if I'm done with the switch and released the keys. I have
to press the <Win> key once more to get the map out of the way. I'd expect the
WS to go away immediately after releasing the keys (something it used to do
under GNOME 2.4).

ok, so let's let the BTS know that; maybe you can also try with the

Thanks,
