 Is there a way to continue building packages with gdk-2.0.pc?  Do you
 have a temporary patch against gdk-2.0.pc which would permit building
 without x11.pc?  This would help while the xorg 7.0 packages are
 prepared.

 I think this could block uplaoding gtk+2.0 2.8 to unstable.
