I've got the same issue that:

Enviroment:
Ibook g4, new etch instalation begining from and update from sarge.

Nautilus 2.10.1
libgnomevfs2-common 2.10.1-5


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. smb:/// crash nautilus
2. smb://user@host/share work pretty good.

Actual Results:
smb:/// crash nautilus

Expected Results:
smb:/// must to show workgroups

How often does this happen?
Always
