 I tried to look into this a bit harder, and it's really surprizing to
 break here.  I can only imagine some corrupted file makes some system
 calls fail, or some error in libxml2.

 Hence, I propose you update your libxml2 package to 2.6.21-1 and try
 reproducing.  If you still have the bug please install ltrace and run:
    % ltrace -l /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2 -o somefile.ltrace glabels
 and reproduce your bug.  Please attach the compressed ltrace file to
 this report.

 If you can read ltrace output and see nothing with it, please try
 installing strace and running:
    % strace -f -e trace=file -o somefile.strace glabels
 and try reproducing the bug you reported.  Please attach the compressed
 strace file to this report.
