Some muds such as the Discworld mud ban the use of any trigger which sends
text to the server but allow the use of colour triggers and sound triggers
which are purely client side.

colour and sound triggers simple change the colour of the triggering text, 
or plays a sound file selected by the user, to help make certain events such
as dropping weapons, losing a shield, etc more noticable.
