Package: totem
Version: 1.2.1-3
Severity: normal

the current version of totem violates the first guideline in the
"showing and hiding windows" section of the gnome hig 2.0
(http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/windows.html#windows-show-hide).
the totem window draws, then a split second latter resizes, which is
"...disorienting and gives an unpolished look to your application."

totem should instead "...make sure [the] window is the correct size
before displaying it."

thanks for the hard work.
