Oh, it’s been a while since I used the control-center shell, I have a
pull-down menu on my panel now. But I just checked: No, everything looks
very sensible now.

This bug can be closed. I would have done so, but I suppose the
corresponding upstream bugzilla entry has to be closed as well, so I
won’t touch anything.
