Bug#347613: totem: Please split the mozilla plugin into a separate package

Package: totem
Version: 1.2.1-1
Severity: wishlist

I would like to have a way to install Totem without having to install
the Mozilla plugin. Currently the plugin is too unstable for real use;
it rarely plays anything, never manages to successfully complate playing
anything, and causes the browser to crash when browsing away from a page
where it was activated.

Currently I am using dpkg-divert to move libtotem-mozilla.so out of the
way, but having the plugin in a separate totem-mozilla-plugin package is
a better solution.
