Bug#348476: totem fails to startup from commandline

Justification: renders package unusable


Starting totem from gnome-terminal did bring up totem for a brief minute or so but crashes 
almost immediately afterwards with the following errors.

$ totem
Creating link /home/maximusp/.kde/socket-debian.
can't create mcop directory
