Bug#376727: Unable to determine correct filetypes for png and jpeg

Nautilus or any other program is unable to determine the filetype of PNG
and JPEG files. I tried with Gthumb and it shows the GIF files perfectly
but PNG and JPEG files do not exist for it.

And also nautilus can not createe thumbnails fot this filetype until you
select those with the mouse, then it's created.

It's happening since I did a major upgrade.
Using Debian GNU/Linux sid, kernel 2.6.15-1-686 #1, libc6 2.3.6-15

El nombre de archivo «p2160369.jpg» indica que este archivo es del tipo
«documento jpg». El contenido del archivo indica que es del tipo «Imagen
JPEG». Si abre este archivo, éste podría representar un riesgo de
seguridad para su sistema.

No abra el archivo al menos que usted mismo lo haya creado, o lo haya
recibido desde una fuente confiable. Para abrir el archivo, renómbrelo
con la extensión correcta para «Imagen JPEG», luego abra el archivo
normalmente. Alternativamente, utilice la opción «Abrir con» del menú
para seleccionar una aplicación específica para el archivo.
