Yeah, that's what I would expect, instead of systematic restart.

As a matter of fact it's just painful when I'd like to change the wm and
would like to issue "kill nnnnn ; newwm &" ;) in a term and get the wm
changed...

Yeah, I was thinking of something like that kind of flag/property...
just trying to figure out if there are some docs, at least, first ;)
